WE BELIEVE the Bible is the written Word of God inspired by God.

WE BELIEVE in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as the Savior of the world.

WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for the redemption of our sins. We believe He was buried in a tomb, and on the third day, He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father.

WE BELIEVE salvation is obtained through repentance of sin, faith in His blood and what He did for us on the cross, and by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

WE BELIEVE in water baptism and that it is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE in the regular taking of Communion as an act of rememberance for what Jesus did for us on the cross.

WE BELIEVE in divine healing which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God's Word.  We believe that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed!

WE BELIEVE in tithing and bringing offerings into the local church.

WE BELIEVE in baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and in Jesus' name.

WE BELIEVE in the name of Jesus, and the authority invested in that name as a covenant child of God.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Guatay Christian Fellowship Church (known as GCF) is to teach Christians who they are in Jesus Christ and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges as sons and daughters of God, how to grow daily in their walk with the Lord.  Our focus is on sound biblical principles and teaching the Word of God to equip people to spiritual maturity.

At GCF we are called to teach people how to operate in the fullness of God and the Biblical principles of faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption and righteousness, how to operate in the Shalom (peace) of God.  GCF strives to be a place of safety and refuge where people can come to grow in grace and be taught the Word of God.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to reach out to the people, and especially, the youth of our community - to reach them with the Word of God, to teach the values of a Christian way of life, to combat the Godless, negative images they are bombarded with daily in the mainstream media, schools, television, movies, and music.  We believe Jesus is the answer to every situation in life - and it is our vision and desire to share the hope of a life in Christ to a hurting world.
