Guatay Christian Fellowship began February 16, 1986 as a small home-based church in the Guatay, California home of Pastor Stan & Brenda Peterson. The church began with about 50 members which included their three children. On October 5, 1986, the church moved into its current facility located in "Downtown Guatay." Today the church has grown to about 80 members - and is still growing.
Located in the beautiful mountains of the Cleveland National Forest in San Diego County, California, the town of Guatay is situated at an elevation of 3,999 feet. The chaparral-covered ridges, gentle sloping meadows, oak, pine, and Tecate cypress trees, and yes, sometimes snow, make for a serene setting for the little stone building which houses Guatay Christian Fellowship. This small back country community and this facility have been our home for 23 years.

OUR CHURCH BUILDING
We thank God for our little stone building which allows us to worship in comfort and safety. Throughout our 23 years, much love, blood, sweat and tears, have gone into making our facility a place to be truly proud of.
Thank you Jesus!
OUR SANCTUARY

Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse.
Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD!
